EMPOWER Collective Day
Sun 07 Dec
|Newcastle
After an abusive relationship, there will be symptoms of traumatic cognitive dissonance that can be identified during and after the relationship ends. Recovery is possible and part of that recovery is giving yourself permission to heal. This workshop helps you to get out of your own way.

About the event
We have been taught to 'get over things' and 'keep the peace' - teased or bullied into thinking we are too sensitive or needy when we ask for help.
We have learned to survive emotional and psychological abuse by being polite, being perfectionistic (absolutely no room for error or judgement) and living life like it is personally our fault when others treat us with disrespect or harm. This workshop is a proactive few hours together with a small group of like minded people provided to set the foundation in going against the grain and trusting our own intuition and our authentic selves to protect our peace and live a life that we truly deserve.
There are 3 parts:
Step One : IDENTIFICATION - What has actually been going on and who you have been dealing with this whole time
Step Two: REFLECTION - What you can begin to do about…
